Arsenal fan Piers Morgan is growing increasingly concerned over the form of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Aubameyang shone for the Gunners last season but has scored just two Premier League goals for Mikel Arteta’s side in the current campaign.
Arsenal take on north London rivals Tottenham on Sunday as they look for their fifth win of the season.
The Emirates outfit have already tasted defeat five times in the league as Arteta struggles in his first full season in charge.
And diehard Arsenal fan Morgan is concerned that Aubameyang’s form could be linked to the club’s treatment of Mesut Ozil.
“There’s something about the body language, particularly of Aubameyang right now,” the Good Morning Britain host told Sky Sports News.
“Whether that’s a lack of confidence because he hasn’t scored for a few games, whether there’s something behind the scenes… there’s something going on behind the scenes I think at Arsenal.
“Whether it’s linked to Mesut Ozil and his situation, with £350,000 per week going to a guy sitting there on his Playstation, I don’t know, but it seems to be seeping into this team – a little bit of discontent, a lack of fight, a lack of passion, a lack of coherent tactics, and all these things, we had them a few weeks ago, so they’ve gone somewhere.
“It’s worrying, and I think the most worrying thing for me, as a huge fan of his, is what’s going on with Aubameyang.
“I’m hoping the sort of pressure and adrenaline rush of the north London derby will stir him back into the form he had last season.”
Arteta is confident that Aubameyang will soon be back in the goals, saying: “If you look in the last few years at how the team has shared the goals it’s quite limited.

“That’s not an issue that’s happening now, that’s an issue that’s been happening for years and that has to be resolved.
“To put all the responsibility to one man (Aubameyang) is not fair and as a team we have to resolve that.
“We’re getting in to a lot of situations. Sometimes the timing is not right, sometimes the execution is not right, but there are a lot of things we need to do better.”
